DayCheck is SpotOn’s digital tip payout solution, built into SpotOn Teamwork. Once tips are calculated based on your rules—including tip pooling, tip shares, and service charges—you review and approve them in Teamwork. Approved tips are distributed to your employees’ DayCheck digital wallets automatically at the end of each shift. From there, they can transfer their earnings to their bank account through automatic daily rapid transfers or on-demand standard transfers.
Employees download the DayCheck mobile app and connect their bank account or set up their SpotOn Card. Once a manager approves tips, the funds appear in the employee's digital wallet automatically—ready to transfer to a separate bank account or spend with the SpotOn Card just as they would a bank card.
Yes. There are no additional software fees for your business to offer DayCheck to your team. It’s included as part of SpotOn Teamwork. Employees only pay a fee if they choose the rapid transfer option to an external account (1% fee with a $0.95 minimum and $2.95 maximum). On-demand transfers let employees initiate a transfer whenever they choose, with rapid or standard transfer speeds. Both options require a $25 minimum per transfer—any tips below that threshold are automatically sent by payday. Additional terms apply.
